    The names of fallen police officers Nick Smarr and Jody Smith will be memorialized on the building that is home to Georgia Southwestern State University’s Public Safety Department. At their monthly meeting in Atlanta, the Board of Regents of the University System of Georgia approved a proposal from GSW Interim President Charles Patterson to name the building the “Nicholas Smarr and Jody Smith Memorial Building.”

The purpose of the surveys is to better understand how general business conditions are impacting Georgia CEO subscribers on a quarterly basis. Georgia CEO partners with the Bureau of Business Research and Economic Development (BBRED), a member of the College of Business at Georgia Southern University, to prepare, distribute and analyze the survey.
