The deadline is this Friday for the Albany Area Chamber of Commerce's Welcome Wagons for Residents. As tradition holds, we're calling on our valued member businesses to join us in filling welcome wagons for the EIGHT incoming doctors who have chosen Albany as their home for the next three years.

Each year, this gesture serves as a testament to the strong partnership between our Chamber member businesses and Phoebe Putney Health System, ensuring that these residents feel embraced by our community from the moment they arrive. By providing business branded items like umbrellas, cups, pens, discount cards, gift certificates, and more, our members play a crucial role in making Albany feel like home for these dedicated medical professionals.

Your contribution can make a difference in the lives of these new residents as they embark on this important journey in their medical careers.

Let's come together once again to show our hospitality and support for the next generation of physicians at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital. Together, we can make Albany feel like home for these eight exceptional individuals.

Please have all of your items to us by June 14 and make plans to attend the Welcome Ceremony at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital's Healthworks Gym at 10:00 a.m. on June 26, 2024.  Please note that the Albany Area Chamber is open from 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. on Monday - Thursday and from 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. on Fridays. All items will need to be dropped off during these times.
