GDOL to Co-sponsor a Veteran Community Career Fair in Camilla May 18th

Job seekers in the Moultrie area will have the opportunity to meet with about 30 employers with jobs to fill during the Veteran Community Career Fair.

The career fair is being co-sponsored by the Georgia Department of Labor’s Moultrie Career Center, the Southwest Georgia Community Action Council, Inc., the City of Camilla and the Camilla Chamber of Commerce.

The career fair will be held on Thursday, May 18, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at The Mitchell County Agriculture Center located at 4590 GA Hwy 37 East in Camilla. GDOL staff will on site to assist applicants.

Employers who have already registered for the career fair include: Ambassador Personnel, Autry State Prison, Care Source, Diversified People Placers, Dougherty County Sheriff Department, Florida Department of Corrections, Florida Highway Patrol, Georgia Department of Juvenile Justice, Georgia Department of Veteran Services, Golden Triangle RC&D Council, Keystone Foods, Mitchell County Hospital, Modern Woodman of America, SWGACAC and Thomas Truck Lines.

More employers are expected to attend this event. The career center, located at 220 North Main Street, is open to serve the public Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
