Lily Pad SANE Center Hosting Child Abuse Symposium, ‘Walk A Mile In Her Shoes'

An annual symposium for those who work with child abuse victims in Southwest Georgia and the fundraiser “Walk A Mile In Her Shoes” are coming up next month for the Lily Pad Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner Center.
The 4th annual Child Abuse Symposium is scheduled for 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m. April 14 at Darton State College. It is being held in Room C-266. There’s no charge to attend the event, which will cover topics including child abuse protocol, compassion fatigue and rape-related post-traumatic stress disorder and evidence collection and testimony preparation.
