Dougherty County Commission Gives Special Approval for Church Expansion

Following a lengthy executive session during which they discussed a proposed easement agreement with Sabal Trail Transmissions, Dougherty County commissioners got down to less volatile business during their Monday-morning meeting.
Commissioners, following a public hearing, voted to give special approval to Bethel Holiness Tabernacle to allow for construction of a 9,800-square-foot sanctuary at 1029 Fairview Ave. in Putney, and voted to accept the city of Albany’s nominees for joint appointments to specialized trade boards.
