Albany Technical College will hold the Twelfth Annual Faith-Based Luncheon for community clergy members on Wednesday, March 30, 2016, beginning at 11:30am in the Kirkland Conference Center.

The purpose of this event is to provide information to clergy in our community about educational choices at Albany Tech, financial aid options and employment opportunities available to graduates.

Albany Tech President, Dr. Anthony O. Parker, will open the luncheon with a welcome and proceed to discuss ATC Pathways, which include articulation agreements Albany Tech holds with several universities. Presentations will also be made on Move On When Ready, which is the dual enrollment program for high school students, as well as Ability to Benefit, which is the dual enrollment programs in select academic programs for students achieving to obtain their GED.

Guest speaker for the day will be Dr. Daniel Simmons, Pastor of Mt. Zion Baptist Church. Bryan Gerstel, Minister with Westwood Church, Albany, will give the invocation. Two current Move On When Ready students, Erykah Baker (Pharmacy Technology) and Montalvo Jones (Electromechanical Engineering) will provide their testimonials to the group.

The luncheon will conclude with a video virtual tour of Albany Tech, along with closing remarks and a question and answer forum led by Dr. Parker.
