Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital Reviews Medical Staff Applicants

Several physicians and mid-level practitioners in various specialties are vying for spots on the staff at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital, a report from the hospital’s Professional Affairs Committee showed.
A report that came to the committee on Monday after going through the Credentials/Bylaws Committee on June 23, and the Medical Executive Committee on July 1 was reviewed by the committee and sent to the hospital’s full board for final approval. Critical care, emergency medicine, pediatric hospitalist, vitreoretinal surgery and pediatric hematology and oncology are the specialties represented.
