Jason Rooks Named 2014 CBA Leadership Division Representative of the Year

The Community Bankers Association of Georgia’s Leadership Division named Jason Rooks, Vice President and Commercial Lender, Flint Community Bank, Albany, Leadership Division Representative of the Year at CBA’s 36th Annual Leadership Division Convention and Mini-Trade Show held recently in Amelia Island, Florida. 
“We are pleased to offer this award of recognition to hard-working representatives each year and we congratulate Jason for being named the LD Representative of the Year,” said Rob Braswell, President & Chief Executive Officer, Community Bankers Association of Georgia. “Jason has definitely gone beyond the call of duty. He has been extremely involved in raising funds for PAC/PR by organizing the inaugural clay shoot, promoting financial literacy in his community, and in raising money for Children’s Healthcare. He’s a true example of fine leadership.”
Rooks was also named to the 2014-2015 Leadership Division Board of Directors as 2nd Vice Chairman of the Executive Board. Jason Rooks has been in banking for 13 years and is a Vice President and Commercial Lender with Flint Community Bank. Mr. Rooks is a member of Albany Rotary Club and Greenbriar Church in Albany. He and his wife, Amanda have two children, Preston and Calley.
