Perry Revell on Why He Chose AB&T

Perry Revell, a new addition as a Vice President/Commercial Banker for AB&T in Albany, discusses why he chose AB&T, and talks about the commercial banking department at AB&T.
My name is Perry Revell. I'm a commercial banker here with AB&T and have just recently joined the team, and am very exited about being part of this bank. It was important for me, as a commercial banker, to be able to line up with a bank that shared similar values, not only for this community, but in terms of doing banking.
I'm a firm believer that long term relationships is a great way to do banking, and that's what commercial banking really is all about. It's doing it in such a way that we get to know your business, we get to know who you are, where you've been, and where you want to go. A lot of that's done just simply by discovery and asking questions and developing a relationship in such a way that we understand where it is that you're coming from. So for me, being a part of a community bank, it was important to be part of one that's dedicated to being the gold standard, that's dedicated to being part of what this community's all about.
I'm a native Albanian, grew up here, it's where I've chosen to raise my family as well, so what takes place in this community is important to me. I'm plugged in to the United Way and various other organizations. So to be part of a bank that makes the decisions, particularly from a commercial banking standpoint here in this market was important to me. The reason that's important to a business is simply because it allows the bank to grow with you, to understand where you are, where you want to go, and so that the solutions that we offer continue to build whatever cycle it is that you're in from a business standpoint. It's simply put that when our customers succeed, we succeed. Ultimately, this community succeeds.
