Visit Albany invites residents and visitors to begin their holiday shopping at its Holiday Open House on Saturday, November 7, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Albany Welcome Center, 112 N. Front St., Albany, Georgia.

The event will feature participating local businesses, artisans and authors, offering shoppers an opportunity to find gifts while supporting Albany’s creative community.

Featured participants include Love Koture, offering beard and hair oils; Simply Beautiful, featuring candles and other products; and authors Mary Sterner Lawson and Billy Paul Smith. A children’s interactive corner will offer books and Santa postcards for younger guests.

“We want people to make the Welcome Center part of their holiday shopping,” said Kasey L. Summerville, President & CEO of Visit Albany. “This is a chance to discover local talent, find something special and support the people creating right here in our community.”
