Thursday, October 8th, 2026
Phoebe wants to empower women with the knowledge, resources and confidence they need to build healthier lives and stronger futures. “Empower Her Heath,” is the theme of the health system’s 2026 Women’s Health Fair that will be held on Saturday, October 24, 2026, from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Albany State University’s West Campus Gym, located at 2400 Gillionville Road in Albany.
Participants will have the opportunity to connect with healthcare professionals, learn more about factors that influence their health and wellness, and receive valuable health screenings and educational resources. Free health screenings for blood pressure, cholesterol, and glucose will be available from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. Partners will also provide seasonal vegetables while supplies last.
“The Women’s Health Fair is about giving women access to the knowledge and resources they need to prioritize their health. Through screenings, education, and connections with some of our expert physicians, we hope to inspire women to take proactive steps toward healthier lives for themselves and their families,” said Estrellita Redmon, MD, President of Phoebe Physicians.
Whether you're looking to improve your own health, learn more about preventive care, or support the women in your life, this event offers an opportunity to explore resources and services that promote lifelong wellness. All are welcome to attend.
Phoebe thanks its partners helping to make the fair possible, including Albany State University, Albany Technical College, Esthetics 101, Flint River Fresh, Morehouse School of Medicine, Project Elevation, the Southwest Health District, Peach State Health Plan and Women of Wellness.
