One Community, One Mission: MCLB Albany Stands Against Domestic Violence
Wednesday, October 7th, 2026
A tribute to strength and survival, Marine Corps Logistics Base Albany Marines, Sailors and personnel raised awareness by participating in a torch run and planting flags in honor of lives impacted by domestic violence in front of base headquarters, Oct. 2.
Organizers note that while each person "may have run at different paces, we crossed the finish line with the same purpose: one community; one commitment; one mission - to stand together against domestic violence."
Each flag is a tribute, a statement and a show of strength as we commit to prevention, remembrance and healing.
