Marine Corps Logistics Base Albany's Special Reaction Team (SRT) joined forces with the Crisp, Dooly and Turner County Tri-County SWAT team for a day of joint training focused on teamwork, communication and interoperability.

The morning focused on team movement, integrating new members and working alongside officers from another tactical team - an important opportunity to learn how each team operates and build familiarity before it's ever needed in a real-world situation.

In the afternoon, the teams worked through breaching scenarios using the Ballistic Engineered Armored Response Counter Attack Truck (BEARCAT) and standard ram while responding to scenarios involving armed suspects.

Joint training like this helps build relationships and strengthens our ability to work together with our regional law enforcement partners when it matters most.
