AT&T and Compudopt provided the Early County Literacy Task Force 50 refurbished laptops today to distribute to Early County students.
The computers, funded by an AT&T investment, were given to Early County Literacy Task Force to distribute to Early County students and families.

“We appreciate AT&T for helping expand access to technology for Early County students and families. These laptops will connect students with valuable literacy resources, educational opportunities and essential online services,” said Erin Lee, Executive Director of the Early County Family Connection. “This collaboration supports our commitment to strengthening literacy and helping every family in our community build a bright future.”
“Access to technology is access to opportunity. These computers are more than devices—they are tools that can help our students learn, help individuals prepare for the workforce, and help families stay connected to resources and opportunities,” said Beth Chandler Noland, Executive Director, Blakely-Early County Chamber of Commerce. “We are incredibly grateful to AT&T for investing in Blakely and Early County and for recognizing the importance of rural communities like ours. Partnerships like this are what help our community continue to grow, connect, and move forward.”
This effort is part of AT&T’s initiative to help address the digital divide through internet accessibility, affordability and safe adoption. AT&T is committing $5 billion to help 25 million people get and stay connected to high-speed internet by 2030.
“At AT&T, we believe connectivity can open doors to greater opportunity for individuals, families and communities. We’re proud to work alongside the Early County Literacy Task Force, whose work helps improve literacy outcomes for students and families,” said Colin Martin, Regional Director of External Affairs, AT&T Georgia. “Through this collaboration, we are providing Early County students with access to the technology and digital tools needed in today’s digital world. Together, we are connecting more Georgians to greater possibility.”
