The Albany State University (ASU) Foundation, in partnership with University Growth, is launching the Forever a Ram Brick Campaign, a one-of-a-kind fundraising initiative designed to create a lasting tribute to the people who have shaped the history and legacy of Albany State University.

 

With the potential to initially generate more than $1 million for the Albany State University Foundation, with opportunities for continued expansion, the Forever a Ram Brick Campaign represents one of the largest fundraising campaigns undertaken by Albany State University to date.

 

Proceeds from the campaign will support key university priorities, including Albany State Athletics, the Marching Rams Show Band, and student scholarships, including the Presidential Scholarship Fund.

The Forever a Ram Brick Campaign invites alumni, faculty, staff, students, families, friends and supporters of Albany State University to leave a permanent mark on the institution they love. Personalized bricks will become part of the university’s physical landscape and will serve as lasting reminders of the people, relationships and experiences that make Albany State special.

Bricks can be purchased to commemorate a graduation, celebrate a family, honor a loved one, recognize a classmate, or pay tribute to an organization, chapter or other meaningful connection to Albany State University.

 

The Forever a Ram Brick Campaign offers several ways for individuals and organizations to participate. Individuals can purchase a personalized 4" x 8" engraved brick for $500, or a $650 package that includes the engraved campus brick and a replica desk brick for display at home or in an office. Purchasers can select from three campus locations: Lovett Hall, the Jones Brothers HPER Complex or the West Campus Arena.

 

To make participation more accessible, payment options are available for those who prefer to pay over time.

 

Forever a Ram bricks will be installed on campus and officially unveiled during Homecoming 2027, creating a lasting tribute to the individuals, families, organizations and businesses that have contributed to the Albany State legacy.
