Georgia Hospital Association Board Chair Vicki Lewis, FACHE, president and CEO of Coffee Regional Medical Center, has been elected to serve on the Board of Trustees for the American Hospital Association and as the Chair of the AHA’s Region 4 Policy Board.

Lewis was elected to a three-year term beginning Jan. 1, 2027. Her election strengthens the voice of Georgia hospitals and health systems in national healthcare policy discussions and advances GHA’s mission to shape a healthier Georgia.

Lewis has served on the GHA Board of Trustees since 2019 and has been Board Chair since July 2026.

Her extensive experience leading both small and large health systems and her deep understanding of Georgia’s healthcare landscape will bring valuable perspective to both state and national conversations as we continue pursuing improvements across the healthcare delivery continuum.”

Lewis has served as president and CEO of Coffee Regional Medical Center since 2014. Prior to joining Coffee Regional, she held executive leadership positions with Aurora Health Care in Wisconsin and OhioHealth. She previously served on AHA Regional Policy Board 4 from 2022 to 2025 and is a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives.
