Albany State University (ASU) has announced the dates and theme for Homecoming 2026, with the full event schedule and additional information to be released in the coming weeks. Alumni, students, families, friends and supporters are invited to return to campus October 4–11 for a weeklong celebration of Golden Ram pride, tradition and excellence. 

This year’s Homecoming theme, “ASU Unleashed: The Power of the Ram,” celebrates the strength, spirit and collective energy of the Albany State community. Throughout the week, the University will host events designed to bring the RAMily together and showcase the traditions that make Homecoming one of the most anticipated celebrations of the year.

The Homecoming football game on Saturday, October 10, is at 2 p.m., when the Golden Rams take on Lane College at the ASU Coliseum.

To help ensure a safe and enjoyable Homecoming experience, campus access wristbands will be required to be worn at all times during Homecoming activities.

Wristbands are $75 for individuals ages 11 and older and $25 for children ages 6–10. Children 5 and under may attend for free. Wristbands provide access to the football game, general parking and The Yard, which will feature live music, vendors and other festivities.

Individuals without wristbands will be subject to removal from campus, with no exceptions.

Unattended minors will not be permitted. A responsible adult must accompany all youth under age 18. Current ASU students must present a valid ASU RAM ID.

Homecoming also provides opportunities for businesses, organizations and alumni to participate in the festivities.

Vendor spaces are $300, with each paying vendor receiving three wristbands. Vendors may showcase food, merchandise, services and other offerings to Homecoming attendees. Vendor registration will remain open through October 2.

Tailgating spaces are $250, while RV tailgating spaces are $300. Each paying tailgating customer will receive two wristbands, and each paying RV tailgating customer will receive three wristbands. Tailgating spaces are limited.

The Homecoming Parade will take place on Saturday, October 10 at 9 AM on Pine Avenue. Community organizations are invited to participate. Parade registration will close on September 10. Participants interested in joining the Homecoming parade should complete registration online.
