Moore, Clarke, DuVall & Rodgers has announced the promotion of Wheeler Bryant and Jessica Crannis to Partner.

Wheeler Bryant was promoted to Partner in the firm’s Savannah office. For the past seven years, he has litigated civil disputes in state and federal courts throughout Georgia, Florida, and South Carolina. His practice focuses on commercial, banking, and business-related matters, representing businesses, banks, and financial institutions in complex disputes and transactions.

Mr. Bryant routinely handles trademark and trade secret matters, complex commercial litigation, and cases involving secured transactions and negotiable instruments. His experience also includes fiduciary disputes, business torts, breaches of fiduciary duty among business partners, enforcement of restrictive covenants, creditors’ rights matters, and insurance defense involving general liability. 

Jessica Crannis was promoted to Partner in the firm’s Albany office. A member of the firm’s Real Estate Law practice group, Mrs. Crannis brings nearly 20 years of experience representing clients in residential and commercial real estate matters. Her practice includes real estate title issues, acquisitions and financing, as well as real estate defaults and foreclosures.

Throughout her career, Mrs. Crannis has counseled investors, buyers, and sellers in a wide range of real estate transactions. Her clients include banks, mortgage lenders, investors, and individuals involved in residential, commercial, and agricultural real estate matters.

Mr. Bryant earned his Juris Doctor, cum laude, from Florida State University College of Law in 2011 and received his Bachelor of Arts degree, cum laude, from the University of Georgia in 2008.

Mrs. Crannis earned her Juris Doctor, cum laude, from the University of Georgia School of Law in 2005 and received her Bachelor of Arts in Journalism, magna cum laude, from the University of Georgia in 2002.
