KUMHO Tire U.S.A. Relocates North American Headquarters to Perimeter Summit

JLL today announces that KUMHO Tire U.S.A. (KUMHO), one of the world’s leading tire manufacturers, has relocated and expanded its North American headquarters to a 14,000-square-foot space at Perimeter Summit, the 1.7 million-square-foot, Class-A mixed-use development in Brookhaven. The new headquarters will be home to 50 employees, centralize the company’s regional operations and support its continued growth in the Southeast. JLL Senior Managing Director Ryanne Pennington and Vice President Maren Christian represented KUMHO Tire in the transaction.

KUMHO originally relocated its North American headquarters to Atlanta in 2016. Drawn to the Perimeter Summit’s wellness-focused amenities and collaborative gathering areas, its new space is 16.7% larger than its previous office. Notably, the headquarters relocation comes on the heels of KUMHO opening its 2nd   warehouse in Georgia, which is instrumental in the company’s ability to improve fill rates, enhance operations and accommodate shorter delivery lead times.

Perimeter Summit is a premier 83-acre mixed-use campus located in one of Atlanta’s fastest-growing submarkets. The campus recently underwent renovations to elevate the office experience, including refreshed lobbies, new pickleball courts and enhanced outdoor workspaces. Perimeter Summit is anchored by a four-star, four-diamond Hyatt Regency hotel offering convenient business accommodations and conference facilities. The Residences at Perimeter Summit, a 350-unit multifamily project developed by High Street Residential, will deliver at the campus next fall. Ideally positioned with direct access to the Medical Center MARTA Station, I-285 and GA-400, the property offers exceptional connectivity and is less than a mile from Perimeter Mall, placing it within an energized area that includes 13 million square feet of retail, 72 restaurants, nearly 6,000 hotel keys and over 22,000 multifamily units. JLL handles leasing efforts for Perimeter Summit.

According to JLL’s Q1 Atlanta Office Report, leasing activity so far this year has built upon the robust deal volume experienced in 2024. In addition, tenants are increasingly committing to larger spaces, signaling more confidence in the market. This activity underscores the national flight-to-quality trend in which the highest levels of leasing activity are seen in activated office environments with top-tier amenities such as Perimeter Summit.
