Dougherty County Welcomes New Executive Assistant to the County Administrator

Dougherty County is pleased to announce the hiring of Kaelyn King as the new Executive Assistant to the County Administrator, effective March 10. 

King brings extensive experience to the role, having previously served as the Downtown Event Coordinator for the City of Albany's Downtown Manager's Office. In her former position, she successfully coordinated events that engaged the community and fostered local partnerships. 

“We are excited to welcome Kaelyn King to our team,” said County Administrator Deron King. “Her background in event coordination and community engagement will be invaluable as we continue to enhance our administrative operations and community outreach.”

In her new role, Kaelyn King will support the County Administrator in managing administrative functions, coordinating internal communications, and facilitating strategic initiatives. Her experience and skills will contribute to the efficiency and productivity of the County Administrator’s office.
