Georgia State Senate Advances $250 Child Tax Credit Bill Unanimously

The Georgia State Senate voted unanimously Wednesday to advance a bill to expand tax incentives for parents with young children.
Senate Bill 89 would expand an existing state tax credit for certain child care expenses from 30% to 40% of the federal tax credit and create a new $250 tax credit per child under the age of seven.
