Staff Report From Georgia CEO

Wednesday, February 19th, 2025

Albany Technical College will launch Community Informational Sessions starting in February 2025. These sessions, designed to engage and inform the local community, will be held on the last Wednesday of each month from 5:00 to 6:00 PM. The inaugural session is scheduled for Wednesday, February 26, 2025.

The Community Informational Sessions will highlight the healthcare programs offered at the Phoebe Living and Learning Community (LLC) and showcase the resources and opportunities available to students. Attendees will gain insights into healthcare education pathways at Albany Technical College while learning about student support services and community engagement initiatives.

“This initiative provides a valuable opportunity for the community to learn about our healthcare programs and resources at the LLC,” said Dr. Morris Clarington, Dean of Academic Affairs for Nursing & Allied Health Sciences. “It reflects our commitment to community engagement and supporting educational pathways that lead to fulfilling careers.”

The monthly sessions are free and open to the public. Albany Technical College encourages students, prospective students, alumni, and community members to attend.
