During a recent City of Albany Commission meeting, Mayor Bo Dorough asked City of
Albany staff to work with the Marine Corps Logistics Base (MCLB) to assist with their annual Toys for
Tots toy drive.

In partnership with MCLB, the City has placed boxes city-wide to help provide as many locations as
possible for anyone wishing to donate toys.

The City will also be hosting a toy drive event where kids can come and meet Santa Claus, Touch-a-
Truck, meet firefighters, and bring toys to donate!

MCLB reached out to Santa directly, and he will be stopping in Albany on Monday, December 9, 2024,
from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m., at Firehouse 1, located at 320 N. Jackson Street.

Those wishing to donate toys to the MCLB Toys for Tots campaign online can visit the local Toys
for Tots donation page or the mobile version if you use your phone.
