On Tuesday, October 22, 2024, the City of Albany Commission met for its regular meeting. Below are some of the items that were voted on.

  • TSPLOST Funding re: Traffic Signals: Approving TSPLOST I Funds for construction of traffic signals.

    o The Commission approved the resolution.

  • Multi-Alley Reconstruction: Approving the list of alleys for alley reconstruction.

    Authorizing the use of TSPLOST I funds.

    o The Commission approved the resolution.

  • Intergovernmental Agreement with Marine Corps Logistic Base: Authorizing Intergovernmental Support Agreements between the City of Albany, Georgia, and the Marine Corps Logistics Base, Albany, Georgia, for utility services and waste management Services.

    o The Commission approved the resolution.

  • Airport Runway Painting & Rubber Removal: Hi-Lite Airfield Services, Watertown,

    NY, for a total expense of $91,361.50.

o The Commission approved the purchase.
• Airport Standby Generator: MetroPower Inc., Albany, GA, for a total expense of

$119,632.

o The Commission approved the purchase.

 
 

• Albany Museum of Art SPLOST VIII Funding Request: Authorizing the use of SPLOST VIII funds for the Albany Museum of Arts.
