The Albany Area Arts Council (AAAC) is excited to announce the launch of its newest initiative, the Albany Area Artist Network (AAAN). This groundbreaking initiative features a free online artist directory www.albanyartistnetwork.org to help artists promote their work and connect with others. The network aims to be a transformative community-building tool and a comprehensive registry for artists and creatives in the Southwest Georgia region.

Born of the AAAC’s commitment to encourage, sponsor, and support arts and culture in our community, the AAAN is designed to build a thriving community of artists and arts professionals in Southwest Georgia. The AAAN will serve as a dynamic directory of artists and arts professionals, offering our community a platform for connection, support, and opportunity.

We invite all painters, sculptors, visual artists, photographers, filmmakers, digital artists, musicians, actors, dancers, performance artists, and administrative professionals working in the arts to join us. This is a unique opportunity for every type of artist and arts professional to be part of a thriving, supportive community. It is free to register and build an artist profile in the directory. We are also encouraging art lovers and community members to visit the directory and support local artists.

Celebration Event for the Albany Area Artist Network

To celebrate the launch of the Albany Area Artist Network, we will host a special launch party at the Albany Area Arts Council on Thursday, November 14, 2024, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
