2024 Toys for Tots Campaign Kicks Off at MCLB Albany

The Toys for Tots coordinator, 1stSgt. Paul Alejo, Inspector-Instructor first sergeant and his team kicked off their 2024 toy-collecting campaign here Wednesday, Oct. 2 at 10 a.m. in front of Building 3500. 

Toys for Tots is the largest Department of Defense outreach program and serves as an avenue for the Marine Corps’ charity organizations and the local community to provide toys for underprivileged children. 

1stSgt. Paul Alejo, Toys for Tots coordinator, and Capt. Tasha Thomas, corps officer, Salvation Army, provided information to the media about how to register and/or participate in this year’s campaign. Individuals are asked to register and get additional information on the website,  https://albany-ga.toysfortots.org.

The website will have all required documentation, local events, key important dates, who can register, deadlines to register, etc.  Local businesses interested in supporting this campaign and/or requesting a donation box can also submit their requests online.
