Harveys Supermarket in Americus will Convert to ALDI

With ALDI now owning Winn-Dixie and Harveys Supermarket stores, the company is actively identifying locations to convert to its brand, including another one in our area.
Harveys Supermarket at 1208 Crawford St. in Americus will close and be transformed into an ALDI store, Southeastern Grocers and ALDI confirmed. This will be the German-based grocery chain’s first location in Sumter County.
