Kathryn Fletcher of Draffin Tucker Elected Chair of Georgia Society of CPAs

Kathryn Fletcher, a partner at Draffin Tucker, was elected to a one-year term as Chair of the Georgia Society of CPAs (GSCPA) Board of Directors June 11 at the annual convention in St. Augustine, Florida.
The GSCPA is the premier professional organization for CPAs in the state of Georgia. With almost 12,000 members throughout the state, the purpose of GSCPA is to achieve excellence by providing superior advocacy, leadership, service, lifelong learning and personal and professional development opportunities.
As chair of the organization, Fletcher is responsible for leading the board in setting strategic direction, ensuring effective governance, representing the interests of the membership and overseeing the organization's adherence to its mission and goals.
"I am deeply honored and grateful to serve as the Chair of the Board of Directors for the Georgia Society of CPAs,” Fletcher said. “This organization has a rich history of excellence and dedication to the accounting profession, and I am committed to continuing our mission of supporting and advancing the interests of our members and protecting the public interest."
As a quality control partner at Draffin Tucker, Fletcher works at the Atlanta office assisting the firm with accounting and auditing research, attest engagement reviews, training and development of firm personnel, and monitoring the firm’s quality control policies. She is a Certified Public Accountant licensed to practice in the state of Georgia.
