Albany Technical College performed outstanding at the SkillsUSA National Competition held in Atlanta, GA, from June 24 to June 28. The competition, which draws talented students from across the country, saw five of Albany Tech's finest compete at a national level after winning gold medals in the state competition in February.
The team, comprised of students from various disciplines, has brought home one gold medal and three bronze medals, demonstrating their excellence and the high level of training provided by Albany Technical College. "Our students have once again showcased their exceptional skills and commitment. We are extremely proud of each participant's achievements and the excellent guidance provided by their advisors," said Ken Williams, Student Life & Athletic Director at Albany Technical College.

Albany Technical College congratulates the advisors, including Teresa Darity, Ivey Spears, Dr. Marla Fowler, and especially Brandon Kent, who coached multiple medalists. Their dedication and expertise have been crucial to preparing the competitors.
