The Albany Area Chamber of Commerce Thursday hosted Propel: Wine Down Level Up, presented by Asa Med Spa, an empowering and sold-out event designed to uplift and inspire women in the Albany community.

The March 7 event, hosted at Doublegate Country Club, was strategically themed around "success, stress, and sponsorship," targeting topics that women today are faced with and that Albany Area women have previously recognized as topics of high interest.

"We are thrilled with the success of Propel: Wine Down Level Up and the positive impact it had on our community of women," said Bárbara Rivera Holmes, president and CEO of the Albany Area Chamber of Commerce. "The overwhelming turnout and enthusiastic participation underscore the importance of events such as these in supporting and uplifting women in our community and our work force.”

A highlight of the evening was the dynamic lineup of speakers who shared their expertise and insights with attendees. Jeretha Peters, First Vice President of Wells Fargo Advisors and Chair of the Albany Area Chamber of Commerce, delivered a compelling presentation on success planning, emphasizing the importance of knowing your individual goals and creating actionable plans. Sara Cornwell, a licensed therapist with Phoebe Putney Health System, provided valuable strategies for managing stress and achieving work-life balance. Melissa Hill, owner of M. Hill Interiors, inspired attendees with her insights on mentorship, encouraging them to both seek mentorship and become mentors themselves.

Propel: Wine Down Level Up was a sold-out event that received an overwhelmingly positive response from attendees, with many expressing gratitude for the opportunity to network, learn, and be inspired. The Albany Area Chamber’s next Propel event is scheduled for this fall.
