DCSS Students Excel at Regional Social Studies Fair

The Dougherty County School System hosted the regional Social Studies fair recently and students throughout the district excelled in the competition. All totaled, fourteen student projects will advance to the state competition, which will be held on April 13 in Kennesaw, Georgia.

Christopher McCullough, Lauren Salter, Jaslene Cade- Dougherty High
Class IV 1st Place

De'Corlyn Miller, a student at Lake Park Elementary, received a special award from the Albany Civil Rights Institute for the best in fair history project.
