New Year, New Georgia-Based Location: Jack’s Officially to Open Albany in January
Tuesday, January 9th, 2024
“Every time we open a Georgia location, it feels like we are coming home,” said Jack’s Family Restaurants CEO Todd Bartmess, whose quick service restaurant (QSR) has 20 years of history operating within the state. “We’re committed to providing a full menu and customer service that reflects our ‘All About the South’ roots and pride ourselves on being good neighbors to those we serve.”
“All of Albany is invited to come out and kick-off their 2024 with us next week,” Bartmess added.
A Southern-born QSR, Jack’s opened its very first location in Homewood, Alabama, in 1960. The then walk-up hamburger joint was an instant hit, offering 10-cent sodas, 15-cent fries and 20-cent shakes. Now — 43 years later and with more than 240 locations across Alabama, Georgia, Mississippi and Tennessee — the brand is still committed to good food and good people that help customers step into its deeply Southern story with every order. From its hand-breaded chicken, handmade biscuits, made-to-order burgers, hand-spun milkshakes and more, Jack’s menu boasts Southern-inspired flavors sure to satisfy customers during breakfast, lunch and dinner.
To establish itself as a strong community partner, Jack’s encourages any nonprofit or local organization within Albany or the surrounding area that is seeking fundraising alignments or sponsorships to visit eatatjacks.com/donations for more information.
“It’s important for us to support towns across the South, and this has been our way of doing business for nearly 64 years,” said Bartmess. “As we continue to open in additional communities, we will do our part to encourage locals to become long-time customers who will enjoy Jack’s for many years.”
In addition to providing the first 50 onsite customers on Opening Day with free breakfast for one month, the Jack’s app will house online exclusives, prizes and promotions for the following 12 weeks post opening.
The Albany Jack’s — the brand’s 25th in Georgia — features the brand’s Digital 2.0 design, highlighted by a double drive-thru to enable faster onsite service than ever before. Its Grand Opening coincides with Jack’s limited-time, value-packed menu combination featuring three hand-breaded chicken fingers, crinkle cut fries and a warm, delicious chocolate chunk cookie for only $6.
