Calling all pickleball enthusiasts! The Sowega Council on Aging (SCOA) is hosting their newest fundraiser, the Dinks for Dinners Pickleball Tournament, October 7 and 8 at the Moultrie YMCA located at 601 26^th Avenue SE in Moultrie, Georgia.

All proceeds benefit the SCOA Home Delivered Meals Program, which provides nutritious meals for food insecure homebound seniors throughout SCOA’s 14-county region. Meals are delivered directly to clients’ doorsteps five days a week.

“We are excited to bring this exciting new event to southwest Georgia to benefit such an important service for our seniors,” said Izzie Sadler, Executive Director of SCOA. “The Home Delivered Meals Program provides more than just a meal – it provides a continued connection to the community, fellowship, and a safety check to ensure the wellbeing of our clients.”
