Albany Area Arts Council Introduces Work of Local Artist, Madelyn Carter, at Opening Reception Thursday

The Albany Area Arts Council is thrilled to announce the opening reception for the highly anticipated exhibition, "Poured: Shades of Chaos," featuring the extraordinary works of local artist Madelyn Carter. The event will take place at the Albany Area Arts Council, located at 215 N Jackson Street, Albany, Georgia, on Thursday, August 3, 2023, from 6 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Born in Bethesda, Maryland, Madelyn Carter's artistic journey has been shaped by her diverse experiences living in Pennsauken, New Jersey, Albany, Georgia, and Savannah, Georgia. Her unique perspective and adventurous approach to color have garnered attention, not only in the art world, but also as a successful hairdresser.
Thursday’s featured exhibit, "Poured: Shades of Chaos," promises to be a visually captivating exhibition that will leave art enthusiasts mesmerized. Showcasing her passion for shapes and her distinctive use of colors, Carter's collection promises to be a true feast for the senses.
The exhibition will be on display from August 3rd to September 21st, 2023, providing ample time for art lovers to explore and appreciate Carter's exceptional talent. The gallery will be open to visitors from Monday to Thursday, Noon to 4 p.m., and appointments can be made for other hours.
