CUBS PROGRAM

Join us for a Cubs Program Friday! Cubs Programs are specifically targeted for children ages 3-4 and held in the Zoo from 10-11 a.m. Cubs is free to members and included with Zoo admission.

In summer 2023, Chehaw has week long half and full day camps for children ages 4-12 running from May 30- Aug 9.
Each day of camp includes a trip to the zoo, animal encounters, crafts, games, activities, snack, Chehaw water bottle, and a cool camp T-shirt! Children will have fun while learning through hands-on activities.
Full day sessions are open to campers age 5-12. Half day sessions are open for campers age 4. After camp care is available until 6 pm for $10 per day or $40 for the entire week. Members receive a 10% discount on all camp sessions plus half price on after camp care. Save big on any camp session, register one camper for 4 camper sessions and receive $50 in savings.

We are happy to announce Chehaw, along with Artesian Alliance partners Thronateeska Heritage Center and Flint RiverQuarium, is participating in the Blue Star Museums program this summer. The program provides free admission to our nation’s active-duty military personnel and their families from Armed Forces Day (May 20) through Labor Day (September 4).
The free admission program is available for those currently serving in the United States Military - Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, Coast Guard as well as Active Duty and Reservists, National Guardsman (regardless of status), U.S. Public Health Commissioned Corps, NOAA Commissioned Corps, and up to five family members. Qualified members must show a Geneva Convention common access card (CAC), or DD Form 1173 ID card (dependent ID), or a DD Form 1173-1 ID card for entrance into a participating Blue Star Museum.
