Flint River Entertainment Complex is thrilled to announce the installation of a cutting-edge digital marquee made possible through the Shuttered Venue Operators Grant. This exciting development promises to revolutionize communication and enhance the overall experience for our vibrant community.

The new digital marquee represents a substantial leap forward in modern communication technology, enabling us to engage with the community more effectively, share information regarding shows & events, and showcase the dynamic nature of our business. This high-resolution display will provide an eye-catching platform to deliver visual content and essential information in real-time, ensuring that our events are conveyed with unparalleled clarity and impact.

Flint River Entertainment Complex’s General Manager, Victor Landry, expressed his enthusiasm for the new technology stating, “We are excited to bring this technology to the facility to aid us in making the community more aware of what is happening at the facility. This full-color digital display will definitely make it easier for downtown travelers to see what is happening at the complex.”

With the installation, the facility will be doing some landscaping around the sign to make the marquee visible for a more extended period for travelers on Oglethorpe. Landry said, “Although we found it necessary to remove a small number of trees for the sake of visibility, we are committed to sustainability and minimizing the climate change impact involved, so for every tree that is removed, we will be replanting another one on the property.”

This project would not have been possible without the Shuttered Venue Operators Grant. This program was established by the Economic Aid to Hard Hit Small Businesses, Nonprofits, and Venues Act and amended by the American Rescue Plan Act to help support the ongoing operations of live venues during the COVID-19 pandemic.
