We are happy to announce Chehaw, along with Artesian Alliance partners Thronateeska Heritage Center and Flint RiverQuarium, is participating in the Blue Star Museums program this summer. The program provides free admission to our nation’s active-duty military personnel and their families from Armed Forces Day (May 20) through Labor Day (September 4).

The free admission program is available for those currently serving in the United States Military - Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, Coast Guard as well as Active Duty and Reservists, National Guardsman (regardless of status), U.S. Public Health Commissioned Corps, NOAA Commissioned Corps, and up to five family members. Qualified members must show a Geneva Convention common access card (CAC), or DD Form 1173 ID card (dependent ID), or a DD Form 1173-1 ID card for entrance into a participating Blue Star Museum. SPLASH PARK

NOW OPEN FOR THE SEASON!

The Splash Park at Chehaw is water fun for all ages! During the season, it is open from 9:30 a.m. to dark. Cost is included in Park admission and is free for members. There are six shade structures that have picnic tables underneath for a shady place to enjoy while your kids splash. Shelters are first come, first served. Larger shelters by the Play Park can be rented. Pets are not allowed within the Play Park or Splash Park.
