Marine Corps Logistics Base Albany will recognize Sexual Assault Prevention Month, April 21, beginning with a 5k run at 8 a.m., followed by a guest speaker and awards ceremony at 11 a.m.

Organizations and individuals who have supported the program in various roles will be recognized.

Guest speakers for the awards ceremony will be Monique Walker, lead forensic healthcare examiner and program coordinator, Martin Army Community Hospital, Ft. Benning, Ga., and Tiffany Thompson, social services supervisor, Dougherty County Department of Family and Children Services.
