Draffin & Tucker, LLP is pleased to announce the admission of Matthew D. Atkins as a partner, effective January 1, 2023. Matt joined Draffin Tucker in 2010 as a staff accountant after graduating from the University of Georgia with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and from Georgia College and State University with a Master of Accountancy. Over the course of Matt's career with our firm, he has worked in various areas making many contributions. Matt has spent his career in our healthcare practice leading a broad range of engagements and, in recent years, has been a leader in our 340B services practice, which serves safety-net healthcare providers. 

Through Matt's efforts in the 340B Program market, including client services, numerous presentations, and authoring articles, he has gained national visibility for himself and Draffin Tucker.

Matt consistently exhibits leadership and initiative in groups in which he is involved. In addition to direct client services, Matt has served in local non-profit organizations and industry associations, including officer roles, committee membership, and general membership.

Matt and his wife Angela have three children and are active members of Porterfield Memorial United Methodist Church. They enjoy traveling and doing projects around the house in their free time.
