ANIMAL THANKSGIVING

One of our favorite days where the animals get to enjoy a special Thanksgiving Feast with guests.
Join us in the Zoo Plaza to make your own pet enrichment, fun crafts, and Thanksgiving themed games and activities.
Come watch our Zookeepers deliver various types of enrichment to a variety of animals!
Enrichment is one of the many aspects critical to keeping animals mentally stimulated in captivity and is an important part of our animal’s daily lives.
Event is included with Zoo admission and, as always, free for members.
FALL BREAK CAMP
NOV. 21-23
Chehaw is a wonderful place for children to let loose and have fun while learning about the wonders of nature around them. In fall 2022, Chehaw has full day camps for children ages 5-12 running during Fall break.
Each day of camp includes a trip to the zoo, animal encounters, crafts, games, and activities! Children will have fun while learning through hands-on activities.
Camps are available for children ages 5-12. Camp times are from 9a - 3p. Camper drop off is from 8:30- 9 am, camper pick up is from 3- 3:30 pm. AFTER CAMP CARE from 3-6 pm is available. Each day of camp is $32. Members get half price After Camp Care.
FESTIVAL OF LIGHTS
STARTS DECEMBER 3
Drive through the lights, enjoy a hot cocoa, and roast marshmallows by the fire pits.
Lights run Dec.3, 9-10, 15-24, 16-31
$8 per car for members of any Artesian Alliance organization
$10 per car for nonmembers
