Willie Odom, a teacher at Westover Comprehensive High School, has been selected to receive a scholarship to attend one of the nation's top Financial Literacy conferences. 

The Georgia Council on Economic Education announced the scholarship award this week. The scholarship covers some of the expenses associated with attending the 2022 Financial Literacy and Economic Education Conference in Chantilly, Va. on September 30.

The two-day conference brings together some of the nation's experts on personal finance and the economy with teachers through intensive workshops to bring learned materials back to their schools to share with their students.
