Construction to Begin on Phoebe, Albany Tech Living and Learning Community Project

Phoebe and Albany Technical College's proposed "living and learning community" has been given permission to begin.
Following an appeal hearing Tuesday morning, the Albany City Commission voted 7-0, to overturn the Historic Preservation Commission's decision that prevented Phoebe and Albany Technical College from moving ahead with plans to build on the site of the former Albany High/Middle School on Jefferson Street.
