Albany Area Primary Health Care (AAPHC) will break ground on the future site of the new Dawson Medical Center on Tuesday, June 7.   The brand new medical office will be located at 505 Forrester Drive SE in Dawson, Georgia. 

“Once constructed, this building will be the new home of our Dawson providers and care teams,” says Shelley Spires, Chief Executive Officer of AAPHC. “The new space will allow our organization to further expand patient care services and access to health care providers.”

Albany Area Primary Health Care is one of the largest Community Health Centers in Georgia and one of the largest medical groups in Southwest Georgia. 

“Our No. 1 priority remains providing high quality health care for all, regardless of an individual's ability to pay or a lack of health insurance. This new space in Dawson will help us serve even more of our fellow community members,” says Spires.

The groundbreaking ceremony will begin at 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday, June 7.  Members of the community are welcome to join AAPHC for this expansion of patient care.
