MCLB Albany Sergeant Major Set to Retire

Master Jamil Alkattan, acting base sergeant major, Marine Corps Logistics Base Albany, will relinquish his post on Thursday, May 26 at 10 a.m. during a ceremony aboard the installation.
Sergeant Major Chad Coston, a native of Louisiana, will assume his duties immediately following the ceremony. Coston, a native of Louisiana, enlisted in the Marine Corps on June 1,1994.
Alkattan, a native of South Bend, Indiana, enlisted in the Marine Corps on Aug. 21 2001 and will be departing here for at Camp Pendleton, California.
