Community Gathers to Celebrate Officers Who Gave Their Lives in the Line of Duty

On Monday afternoon at Albany Technical College, a ceremony was held to honor the fallen officers of multiple city and county entities.
The ceremony recognized fallen officers from the Dougherty County Police Department and Sheriff's Office, Albany Police Department, US Marine Corps and the Southwest, Georgia Regional Airport Police.
Mayor of Albany, Bo Dorough and Dougherty County Chairman Christopher Cohilas declared it Law Enforcement Memorial Week. See more.
