Albany Technical College Associate of Science in Nursing Program to hold Spring Pinning Wednesday

Twenty-two graduates who have earned their associate of science in nursing will be pinned at Albany Technical College in a special ceremony. The event will be held Wednesday, May 4, beginning at 5:00 p.m. in the Kirkland Conference Center.

Albany Technical College students will recite the Nightingale Pledge in honor of the sacred ceremony.

“This is quite an achievement for these nursing students. They were able to complete the necessary clinical hours and graduate with an associate degree. We are happy to see them go out into the community as qualified nurses. We celebrate their success,” said Anthony Parker, President of Albany Technical College.

The guest speaker for the ceremony is Dr. Latrona Lanier, Associate of Science in Nursing Director at Albany Technical College.
