Gray is a leading research analysis for the tourism industry. In 2013, after serving as Research Director for a destination and community branding firm, she formed Gray Research Solutions. She has studied thousands of consumers and their patterns. She digs deep into the data to translate research findings into useful and relevant marketing insights for her clients.
Gray Research Solutions (GRS) was contracted in late 2019 by the Albany CVB. “Due to COVID, the research was put on hold in March 2020 until we were able to return to a somewhat normal tourism market”, says Rashelle Minix, Executive Director of the Albany Convention and Visitors Bureau. “GRS used most of last year to gather research through visitor intercept interviews and “secret shopper” tactics at Albany attractions and hotels. The findings of this research will be crucial to set goals and help improve the Albany tourism experience.”
During the luncheon, stakeholders will be equipped with a firm understanding of who Albany visitors are, why they visit, would they repeat be a visitor, and gain insight into how we improve the visitor experience to attract more.
