Lee County High School Holds Distracted Driving Program for Students

According to law enforcement, distracting driving fatalities are high and because of these numbers, one local high school is focused on reiterating the importance of driving safely.

Tuesday morning Lee County High School students learned the importance and severity of distracted driving. Five stations were set up for students in the front yard of the Lee County High School where students and teachers participated in different stations. Each station showed firsthand all of the dangers and consequences of driving without a seat belt, driving while drunk, and driving while on your phone.
