Albany-Dougherty Emergency Responders Awaiting 'Hero Funds'

Governor Brian Kemp recently announced the ‘Hero Pay' for first responders across the state. But the funds have yet to find their way to Albany and Dougherty county first responders.
The ‘Hero pay' funds were allocated in response to the pandemic. Governor Kemp working to combat the ‘crisis’ he saw public safety officials dealing with on a day to day.
But, Albany and Dougherty county first responders are still waiting on those earned funds to reach their pockets. See more here.
