SOWEGA BEEKEEPERS BEE SCHOOL

A certificate of completion, book and handouts will be given to each student.

The registration cost will include a one year membership with the SOWEGA Beekeepers Club and a club Decal – AND ONE FREE HIVE TOOL PER FAMILY

Cost is $35.00 per person. (non club member)

$25 per additional family member

$15 per club memberLive Bee Lab dates will follow so students can experience the bee hives, hands on and become more comfortable with the bees, identification and performing a hive inspection.

SPRING BREAK CAMPApril 4-8

Around the World in Five Days!
Price: $135 per week, or $30 per day
After Camp Care Available 3:30p- 6p
Ages: 4 - 12 years

This week campers are transported around the world to meet some amazing animals!

Each day of camp includes a zoo visit, animal encounter, games, crafts, and activities.

CHEHAW CATFISH RODEO

March 26

Kids 15 and under can catch as many fish as they want from our fully stocked catfish pond from 8am-noon. This event is completely FREE to kids 15 and under. At noon, the pond will open to the public for the season at a 5 fish limit. Bring your own bait and gear but we will have staff and volunteers available to assist if you need help.

Join us Thursday evening for an Artesian Alliance members-only exhibit preview for members of Thronateeska, Flint RiverQuarium and Chehaw Park & Zoo, along with faculty, staff, and students from Albany State University, as we celebrate the unsung African-American medical heroes of southwest Georgia.

5:30-7:30 p.m. at Thronateeska

Light refreshments will be served

Event kicks off with talk by Dr. James Pratt of Albany State University
